This individual will be capable of identifying and acting on the opportunities that emerging technologies present for dramatic design productivity improvements. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. -In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. -1772539Required Qualifications: -Experience with chip design flows including simulation, synthesis and place & route of digital or mixed signal systems at block and chip levels.Experience with fundamentals of deep learning, AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and cloud computing fundamentals.Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development in the field of electronic design automation, semiconductor IP, and advanced design methodologies.OR equivalent experience.3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:---Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with front and/or back-end ASIC/SoC designUnderstanding of modern EDA tools, IP, and flowsUnderstanding of Generative AI technologies, integration methods, and dataset strategiesAbility to define, modify, and extend automation through scripting and programmingAbility to work well with and articulate ideas and concepts to non-expertsFamiliarity with distributed systems at scaleAbility to work well in a matrixed environment and with ambiguityHands-on use of development tools for AI models and their lifecycleTechnical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
